Introducing The Magnet Club

Magnet club, you say? What’s this?

Magnet Club is my way of sending a little bit of whimsy and joy out into the world each and every month. If you’re here reading this, you probably really like handmade ceramic art. There’s also a very good chance that, even though you love a handmade mug, you may not have the space to keep collecting at such a rapid clip, because your cabinet is already bursting at the seams. Am I close? (If that’s not you, I recommend heading over to my shop page and getting started on that mug collection!)

If you’re like me (and many of my friends), your appetite for ceramic art is larger than your cabinets, and you’d love to keep collecting without having to consider a full kitchen remodel to double your storage space. Enter: Magnet Club. Every single month, I dream up and create a seasonal, limited-edition magnet just for club members. They say the most underutilized space in the kitchen is your fridge’s surface (okay, probably no one officially said that, but it feels true), so let’s fill it with flair and make the most of it.

Every now and again, I’ll make the monthly magnet available to non-members on my website, but the only way to guarantee you’ll get your hands on one is to join the club. Members are automatically mailed the magnet of the month for the length of their membership term. Magnet club makes a great gift for someone who insists they have too much stuff (I bet you they don’t have too many handmade magnets), or a great gift for yourself because, lets be honest, you deserve it.

You might be wondering how I choose the magnet of the month? Great question! Each magnet comes with a short explanation of why I chose that design, along with my musings on the theme. Some months will be silly, some festive, and some tasty (not literally—please don’t eat them—but I do love a snack-themed ceramic magnet). This is my way of sharing a little bit of myself and my creative process with the world, and hopefully bring a little extra silliness and fun along with it.

Think of Magnet Club as a tiny, joyful ceramic surprise—delivered monthly, no cabinet space required.
